AENIUM is currently developing the second phase of the GREEN E-CASTING project as a member of the consortium together with the Automotive Cluster of Castilla y León (FACYL), LINGOTES ESPECIALES and MECANIZADOS ARANDA.
After the study of different multilayer coatings, through additive laser technology, which was performed in phase 1 with successful results, the main focus of this second phase is on materials science, and more specifically on the study of new alloys that allows better performance on mechanical and thermal behaviour. Another of the objectives is to achieve an improvement in sustainability, using ecological raw materials, with a very positive impact on the supply chain.
The Automotive Cluster of Castilla y León (FACYL), AENIUM ENGINEERING, LINGOTES ESPECIALES and MECANIZADOS ARANDA are developing a research, development and prototyping project for electric vehicle components, with the use of advanced materials, different additive manufacturing techniques and complex post-processing. The Green E-Casting Phase 2 project is cofunded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and
Tourism through the line of support for Innovative Business Groups, in its 2022 call for proposals within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
